GTU Faculty of Architecture, Urban Design and Planning

According to its 2017 statutes, the faculty’s mission is to prepare creative, practice-oriented individuals for the local and international job market in a highly competent and competitive manner to respond to the challenges of sustainable development in architecture. The aim of the faculty is to create adequate conditions for study and research, promote professional and student development, meet national and international requirements for educational quality, promote the development of educational programs, training processes and resources. The main objectives of the faculty are to a) prepare highly qualified specialists with relevant skills and competencies to meet the modern demands of the labor market; (b) promote free, logical personalities who are aware of civil responsibility and adhere to democratic principles; c) prepare undergraduate students with academic higher education focused on practical activities; d) prepare masters and doctoral students with academic higher education aimed at scientific research activity. The faculty is responsible for the implementation of research projects, which is why the corresponding financial resources are provided for in the budget. The faculty develops new programs in close collaboration with the Chambers of Architects and Engineers, employers and professional associations and considering their recommendations, based on the planning, development, evaluation, and development of the university education program.

GTU - Faculty Agrarian Sciences

SCI has a cooperation agreement (MOU) with the faculty to develop organic agriculture and already realized a UNDP funded project in coalition with the faculty to promote vocational education for organic viticulture in West Georgia, amongst Samegrelo and winegrowers in the Martvili municipality.

Iberia/ Baghati College

Iberia / Baghati College intends to develop VET services in the specialties of organic viticulture, the Association promoting sustainable development in rural areas provides expertise in organic agriculture and viticulture contributing to the VET system in the field of developing traditional grape varieties and nurseries, organic viticulture, and production practices and innovation, organic farming and biodiversity-friendly business and similar with its experts’ team and relevant knowledge and qualifications in the above areas.
